Frequently Asked Questions

As answered by different members of staff who have joined to build this company together.

What is your company's business?
"We offer products and solutions that provide rapid identification, response, analysis, and cataloging (through collaborators) of imminent biothreats that create high risks to the community at large."

What are your products?
"Our products consist of proprietary hardware and software delivered by individual specialists who are highly trained to understand the entire Cubit Suite and who can interpret the results that are produced. (We are currently in the process of completing development of proprietary hardware that will eventually replace our need to use 3rd party hardware components.)"

What is your focal market?
"Regarding CUBIT, our main market is the health sector (public and private), leading into collaborative relationships with health supply-chain institutions and pharmaceutical companies. Secondly, our market is aimed principally toward food packaging and distribution companies."

Explain the relationships among your products and the solution-based services you offer?
"The products and the solution-based services are completely integrated in order to complement each other. The hardware and software are linked so that once the products have completed gathering needed detection and diagnostic data, the real-time combination of statistical and inferential-based answers is sent out to appropriate recipients."

Why do you describe your business as a product that is delivered with solutions?
"Without the combination of hardware and software, as well as knowledge-intensive expertise, used in concert to detect and assess a situation, there is no feasible or economical way to move toward results-based solutions that can be used by a diversity of medical, community, industrial and other users."

How do you distinguish yourself from a traditional product company or service organization or consulting firm?
"Our company is completely focused on the product and solution set that we are presenting. Action and reaction are the underlying drives of TETRADYN. We do not create "panels" or "research study recommendations." We are not a huge conglomerate offering a multiplicity of other services which have thrown some comparable technology "into the works." We are completely focused on public health in the large and small - improving, reacting, and responding in all matters of incidences."

How will you accommodate rapid growth among a diversified customer base?
"The appeal to CUBIT is the diversity of the applications wherein it can be used. As long as we have the overhead to enable hiring qualified, TETRADYN-standard individuals who are specialized in the field of growth, there will not be problems accommodating the rapid growth. It's all about making sure that we have the prototypes ready for production at a moment's notice and also the quality members to implement the next stages of growth. Our internal training program addresses vertical and matrix-based learning by all staff members."

Who are your principal competitors?
"SAIC, GE, Battelle, and BAE stand out as paradigm examples of our competitors. However, we feel that we have an advantage over them since they offer more "necessarily large-scale solutions." Furthermore, working with companies of their size is often highly problematic. The products that we offer are laid out on the table, clear, direct, with the presence of the team that knows both the customer's business processes and the ways to best fit our products to their situations. However with our competitors, there is often a severe momentum of energy directed to the status quo and to present lines of products and services.

Furthermore, it is important to note that TETRADYN goes one step further, walking the proverbial extra mile for its customers. Outside of state-of-the-art technology and products, TETRADYN aims to provide its customers with a ongoing service of continuing education, fostering a long term relationship with the customer. TETRADYN's customers will have one-on-one access to scientists and trained support personnel long after products have been bought. This ongoing support in the form of education, further evaluation, etc will not be the typical call center response mechanism. Customers will speak one-on-one with scientists who are not only committed to the mission of TETRADYN but also equally committed to the well-being of the customer."

Why do you believe you have truly "breakthrough disruptive technology"?
"Companies have attempted to do bits and pieces of our business plan, but they have not put it together into a complete "organic whole" as we have. We attack problems from recognition all the way to cataloging and tracking the strains of virulent strains that come across our path. This holistic approach is something quite unique to TETRADYN. It makes us stand out when it comes to others who may claim that they have the same approach, but who are unable to actually deliver that to the customer."

What are your main risks as a business?
"The main risks in our business are to ensure that stakeholders - existing customers as well as financial investors - are pleased with the progress we make in our developments and our profitability. A major challenge is our need to hire honorable, trustworthy, competent people who understand not only their position within the company but also the company's mission, the "spirit" - the company lives and breathes as a community of people, and our corporate values. This is one reason we have proceeded very carefully with respect to inviting new people into executive or management positions. There is an extensive vetting and vesting process."

How will you attract top people to work in your company?
"Competitive salaries, attractive bonus structure, excellent benefits, interesting alternative compensatory and financial-security packages compared to typical ones issued (i.e., 401k)."

What is the CUBIT Seal of BioProtection and how do you claim to have the authority to administer such a standard?
"The Seal is a measure and standard that a client has passed and does meet rigorous requirements for facility, produt, and process integrity and safety with respect to critical biological and environmental chemical conditions. We base our claim of ability to properly administer this standard by virtue of not only our own experience and track record in all relevant disciplines including standards formation and QA/QC but also because of our boards of advisors, consultants and critics who bring their expertise into the standard-making and standard-granting process."
